Purpose
This committee recommends and informs the Board of Commissioners about any and all programs related to the Health Department and the Community Care Board, the School Board and libraries. It studies and recommends to the full Board equitable job benefits for all county employees who are not covered under statutory provisions. It recommends and informs the Board about current needs and the development and implementation of programs related to the promotion of tourism. It coordinates the development of recreation and parks programs with the conservation board. The committee is composed of seven (7) Commissioners.*
