Mary Schneider – Drug Court Director
Mary received her bachelor degree from MTSU, majoring in Sociology and Urban Planning, and her masters degree in
Social Work with a concentration in Management and Community Practice from the UT College of Social Work. Mary was instrumental in bringing the Drug Court to Rutherford County, and has been involved in every aspect of the development and administration of this program. Mary is a member of the National Association of Drug Court Professionals, the Tennessee Association of Drug Court Professionals, was appointed by the Governor to the State Drug Court Advisory Committee, a member of the League of Women Voters, and a graduate of Leadership Rutherford. Mary is also one of the co-authors of the Drug Court Treatment Act of 2003.
Angie Hostetler - Drug Court Case Manager
Angie is originally from Michigan. She moved to middle TN in 1995. She graduated from Western Michigan University with a BA in Criminal Justice and Social Work. Angie is married and has two children. She and her family attend New Vision Baptist Church. Angie is a member of the National Association of Drug Court Professionals as well as the Tennessee Association of Drug Court Professionals. Angie started with the Drug Court during the pilot program in March 2000. Currently, Angie is employed as a Case Manager for the Drug Court Program.
Bethany Lindsey - Drug Court Case Manager
Bethany has been working for the Rutherford County Drug Court as a Case Manager since April, 2006. She has a BS in Social Work from Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN. Bethany is married to Ted Lindsey, who works for the Rutherford County Finance Department. Together they are actively involved at Stones River Church of Christ.
Gayle Emery - Adult Drug Court Therapist
Gayle, a Murfreesboro native, received her bachelors degree from MTSU in Early Childhood Education and her masters degree in Counseling from Liberty University in Virginia. Gayle started working with Drug Court in January 2001 through another agency and became full-time Drug Court staff in July 2006. Gayle has 3 children and 5 grandchildren. She attends World Outreach Church with her husband.
Linda Wilson - Administrative Assistant
Linda H. Wilson, Administrative Assistant for the Drug Court Program, is a Murfreesboro native. She has been with Drug Court since 2003. Having worked for an employment agency, taught at Cason Lane Academy for Murfreesboro City Schools, taught at an area Pre-school and owned her own business, she has a variety of work experiences to draw from.
Kay Haskell - DUI and Family Treatment Counselor
Kay came on board in January 2008 as the Counselor for the DUI and Family Treatment Court Programs. She has a BS in social work from MTSU and is a licensed alcohol
and drug abuse counselor who has worked in the alcohol and drug treatment field for over twenty-five years. A native Tennessean, Kay and her husband have two daughters and two granddaughters.
