Public Health Emergencies

Public health emergencies can stem from a wide range of possibilities stemming from natural, technological, or man-made events. Examples include release and exposure to toxic industrial chemicals or hazardous materials, naturally occurring events such as disease, pandemics, or biological hazards. Rutherford Count Emergency Management works with numerous agencies to prepare for, mitigate, respond, and recover from events which may affect the public.
