Courthouse Security

Certified deputies maintain security and order the Rutherford County Judicial Building in downtown Murfreesboro and the Juvenile Court/Detention facility on South Church Street.
Deputies assigned to Courthouse Security are responsible for the daily safety of all judges, attorneys, employees and citizens who pass through the doors of the court facilities. Approximately 35,000 individuals pass through the screening process at the courthouse monthly. About 4,000 people visit the Juvenile Court/Detention facility each month. .
