Criminal Warrants

The Warrants Division is a multi-functional Division and is the first contact citizens have on premises at the Rutherford Co. Sheriff’s Dept. This department enters all paperwork that is generated by the Sheriff’s Dept. All incident reports (TIBRS) Citations, Accident Reports, Background Checks, & Gun permits.

Warrants Division answers all questions about the status of warrants for defendants and other law enforcement agencies. Any inquiry about a warrant will only be shared with the defendant. Warrants are not public information until the warrant has been served. Contact booking for further information about charges and warrants served on defendants.

If any citizen has credible information about the whereabouts of a person believed to have warrants, we would appreciate your efforts. There is certain information that is needed before we will attempt to apprehend a subject. We must have a good address with the house numbers and or apartment number. We must know what situation we are going into, vehicles being driven and hours the subject will be at residence or business. Are there any large animals, small children, or drugs?  If there are weapons you must disclose this information. We ask that you contact our Fugitive Squad at (615) 904-3030. Office Hours
The Warrants Division is a 24 hour 7 days a week department. Our office hours are from 6am to 6pm Monday thru Friday. Our phones are answered 24 hours a day. Reports can be obtained during business hours. The information needed to obtain a report are as follows. You must produce legal Id.
