Register's Notebook 1853-1862 History

This notebook was found in the Register's office and is dated February 1,1853 - November 20, 1862. This discovery afforded the opportunity to create an index to missing deed books which were lost during the civil war. The index was completed on May 9, 2013 and is available for viewing in the Register's office. It soon will be uploaded to the online records of the Rutherford County Register's office.
