Captain Cody Smith
The Training Division is led by Captain Cody Smith. Captain Smith is assisted by a cadre of instructors in the Operations Division that helps accomplish the department's training mission.
Training Division
The Training Division is responsible for facilitating and providing annual and specialized training for all divisions of the Rutherford County Fire Rescue Department. The Training Division also provides initial fire and rescue training for all recruit and lateral hires through its in-house recruit training academy.
