Generations Connected
Generations Connected is Community Care of Rutherford County’s on-site Daycare and Preschool serving children from the community at large and CCRC employee’s children.
Our non-profit daycare is committed to caring for children in a safe and nurturing environment. Our professional curriculum enables each child to thrive and grow, building self-esteem and character development.
Under the watchful eyes of our dedicated early education staff, your child can explore, learn, and grow in ways that support the whole child.
Generations Connected fosters interactions between nursing home residents of Community Care of Rutherford County and our children, developing a bond between generations. The nursing home residents and children come together on a regular basis for intergenerational activities. These meaningful interactions include arts and crafts, singing, reading, dancing and storytelling.
Preschoolers who have regular contact with seniors can increase their abilities to name emotions, work cooperatively, and participate in social activities. Relationship building is just one benefit of an intergenerational program; every child craves adult attention; here there is an abundance!
