Health and Safety Program
Rutherford County Government is committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for our employees. In an effort to meet this commitment, we must ensure a working environment that motivates and supports all employees in their efforts to achieve zero work-related injuries and illnesses. Rutherford County continues to strive to develop and maintain a well-trained, informed and competent workforce through providing clearly stated rules, work instructions and proper equipment to safely complete all jobs.
All departments and schools will actively participate in all applicable safety programs and will encourage their employees to abide by the guidelines of the Rutherford County Government Health and Safety Program. It is the County’s belief that no job is so important and no service so urgent, that the employees cannot take time to perform their work safely and in a conscientious manner. Working together, we can make Rutherford County Government a safe place to work.
