What is Collected
Electronics, with an electric cord or battery operated, are recycling at the rate of $0.33 per pound. Common items accepted are televisions, computer monitors, printers, medical/office equipment and any other electronic device that contains a motherboard or other potentially hazardous materials.
Televisions and Computer Monitor Fees
The fees will be accepted by credit or debit card. There is a minimum charge of $2 for credit card use.
All Electronic Recycling is $0.33 per pound.
Effective Tuesday, May 26, 2015 - All citizens will be required to pay a disposal fee for televisions and computer monitors. This is due to the hazardous material content that must be disposed of properly. This is the fee that the County is charged by the vendor for proper disposal; the County does not profit in any way from the fee. All other electronics, either with an electric cord or battery operated, are disposed of free-of-charge.
