Can You Prevent My Loved One from Having A Pressure Sore?

Sometimes skin breakdown is clinically unavoidable.  This is especially true when a resident has organ failure as skin (like other organs) can breakdown even with treatment.  We take reasonable measures to prevent skin breakdown including having a wound care nurse on staff and weekly wound care doctor visits for those that need wound treatments.  Community Care of Rutherford County received the Vohra Wound Physicians Center of Excellence in Wound Management award in 2025.
