Emergency Management Agency Director Chris Clark Announces Promotions

Emergency Management Agency Director Chris Clark announced promotions for Bernard Pike and Lora Rodgers. 

Pike has been promoted to Radio Communications Coordinator and Rodgers has been promoted to Operations and Training Coordinator. 

Pike said, “Over the past five years, I’ve been deeply involved in coordinating operational efforts to support community safety and resilience at a county emergency management office. My work has focused on facilitating seamless collaboration across teams, ensuring preparedness, and contributing to the smooth execution of response strategies. It’s been a dynamic role, blending planning, resource coordination, and adaptability to keep things running effectively behind the scenes.”

Rodgers said, “Working in emergency management means being part of something bigger—helping communities stay prepared and resilient. Whether it's coordinating training, planning for disasters, or supporting response efforts, every day is about making a difference. Proud to be in a field that focuses on safety and readiness!”
