Who is eligible for Pretrial Release?

Any individual who is charged with a non-violent, misdemeanor offense may be eligible for pretrial release. Considerations for release include criminal history, circumstances of arrest, and results of the Ohio Risk Assessment System (ORAS). All releases must be approved by a Judicial Commissioner.
