Rutherford County Fire and Rescue Save Family Pet From Life -Threatening Situation

Rutherford County- TN (July 2, 2024)  Rutherford County Fire and Rescue Department Crew 56 from the Rockvale Public Health & Safety building responded to a Rockvale residence today for a dog stuck in a wheel. 

Firefighters arrived on the scene to find a small dog with its head stuck inside a car wheel. Crews used tools to remove the beloved pet from the wheel, and the owners helped to keep the dog calm. The dog was removed without injury.

The homeowner appreciated the crew’s patience and skillful removal of the dog from the dangerous situation.
