Re- Entry / Guidance Center Therapeutic Counseling Grant

2 year grant- This particular grant allows certified counselors to be part of our facility and counsel male and female inmates on a one on one basis as well as group sessions. The program is a comprehensive approach to ensuring those incarcerated who have mental illness or co-occurring disorders have access to treatment, recovery, and re-entry services. The therapeutic program addresses mental illness, substance abuse and trauma needs. Each person referred to this program will go through the same process and meet similar criteria before being committed to the program. Referrals will be made by either the correctional work center staff or by a person interest and need.
