Will Murfreesboro Medical Clinic Be In-Network in 2025?
Unless Cigna and Murfreesboro Medical Clinic (MMC) reach an agreement to renew their contract before the end of the year, MMC will NOT be in-network for the Open Access Plus (OAP) or LocalPlus (LP) networks beginning January 1, 2025. The Rutherford County Insurance & Risk Management Department will keep employees up to date through our website with any new information on MMC's 2025 network status as it becomes available.
If you are currently in treatment for a condition at MMC or will be in treatment for a condition before the end of the year, you may qualify for Transition of Care or Continuity of Care. Click here to learn more about Transition of Care, Continuity of Care, qualification guidelines, and how to apply. Applications must be submitted to Cigna.
