Who Can Use the Transfer Station?

Rutherford County Transfer Station (RCTS) is open for the disposal of wastes generated within Rutherford County. All waste managed at the RCTS has a tipping fee associated with it. Private and public generators of large amounts of residential solid waste, commercial solid waste or construction and demolition debris are welcome to utilize the facility provided they pay the tipping fee. Fees are determined based on the FEE SCHEDULE which is calculated based on monthly tons.

As always, Rutherford County residentially generated waste is collected free of charge at our 14 County Convenience Centers. Please be prepared to provide proof of residency to ensure this benefit is offered only to Rutherford County residents.
