Rutherford County Emergency Medical Service Paramedic Kayla Harney Receives Paramedic of the Year Award
Rutherford County Emergency Medical Service (RCEMS) Paramedic Kayla Harney received The Noon Exchange Club Paramedic of the Year award this week, during a lunch reception at Through the Grapevine in Murfreesboro.
Harney was chosen by her peers to receive the award.
Before joining RCEMS she worked in Maury County flying with Air Evac.
During the question and answer period of the luncheon, Harney said her favorite part of the job was working with her colleagues.
RCEMS Director Brian Gaither said the team was proud to see her recognized by The Noon Exchange Club.
“Kayla Harney exemplifies the professionalism and dedication we value at Rutherford County EMS, “ Gaither said. “She consistently provides excellent patient care and represents our department with integrity and compassion. The positive feedback we receive from her coworkers, supervisors, and hospital staff speaks volumes about her character and commitment to serving the citizens of Rutherford County.”
