Inmate Services & Programs

The Rutherford County Correctional Work Center shall make every effort to provide services and programs for the personal development of inmates consistent with the safety and security of the facility. The Work Center will provide reasonable educational and rehabilitative programs, activities, and services for inmates, under conditions of necessary security and supervision, to enhance their emotional and mental life. Facility staff shall insure that inmates are made aware of the services and programs available.

It is crucial that Rutherford County Correctional Work Center and the community work hand in hand to help those incarcerated work toward becoming better citizens. Volunteers are our greatest outside resources in accomplishing this goal. By volunteering, you are helping to make a difference in an offender’s life, their family, and the community.
