About

The Rutherford County Veterans Office assists veterans, their spouses and surviving family members to secure benefits earned through service to our nation. Benefits provided to veterans are available from federal, state and county levels of government.

Dominick joined our team as Veterans Service Officer in September 2015. He received his B.I.S. from Austin Peay State University and his M.S.S.W. from the University of Tennessee. Before beginning his career in Social Work, Dominick served ten-years in the United States Army, where he achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant and received an Honorable Discharge. As a professional Social Worker, he has varied experience in mental health, crisis intervention, children's services, employment counseling and conflict resolution, and most recently vacated his position with Operation Stand Down Tennessee, where he provided essential services to veterans. In addition to his work history, Dominick is a Life Member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Disabled American Veterans, and volunteers at the Alvin C. York Veterans Hospital.
