MURFREESBORO, TN  - Rutherford County PAWS has again joined NBCUniversal Local’s nationwide pet adoption and donation campaign Clear The Shelters, which runs from August 10^th to September 10^th in commemoration of the event’s 10^th anniversary. During the month-long, multi-platform campaign, NBC and Telemundo owned stations are partnering with affiliate stations, animal shelters, and rescues to promote pet adoption and raise funds to support animal welfare.

Rutherford County PAWS asks members of the community for their participation during the campaign and invites them to the culminating event on Saturday, September 7th from 10 AM to 2 PM at 285 John R. Rice Blvd. in Murfreesboro. Rutherford County PAWS is waiving all adoption fees during the weekend of the event, September 6^th through 8^th. Since its inception in 2015, Clear The Shelters has helped over 1 million pets find new homes.

Rutherford County PAWS, “PAWS PET FEST” – quarterly adoption special sponsored by Petco Love

MURFREESBORO, TN- Rutherford County PAWS hosts quarterly “PAWS PET FEST” adoption special sponsored by Petco Love this spring! Petco Love has partnered with PAWS, sponsoring adoption fees for adoptable pets in efforts to help relieve partial financial load, bringing several shelter pets to their forever, loving families.

Bring the family to PAWS and find your new companion on Saturday, May 18^th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. PAWS will be visited by a local food vendor “Momma Joy’s” serving up some delicious lunch items you won’t want to miss! Don’t forget to visit the PAWS table to spin the wheel for a prize.

Petco Love has been creating a better world for animals and people who love and need them since 1999. Beginning with love and one powerful mission, Petco Love has expanded into helping shelters across the country and PAWS just so happens to be a part of it! Because of Petco Love, we have been able to match several pets to their forever families during these events. We are looking forward to what’s to come.

Approved applicants who adopt from PAWS receive a courtesy bag of Hill’s Science Diet pet food and an adoption package with special pet offers, pet parenting tips and info. All available animals are already spayed or neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Rutherford County PAWS Partners with BISSELL Pet Foundation to Reduces Adoption Fees  

PAWS joins 380+ shelters nationwide participating in “Empty the Shelters” reduced-fee adoption event

MURFREESBORO, TN. 4/24/24—BISSELL Pet Foundation, a national animal welfare organization dedicated to ending pet homelessness, is prompting a national call for adoption once again this spring with its “Empty the Shelters” reduced-fee adoption event May 1 – 15. Rutherford County PAWS will participate along with more than 380 shelters in 43 states. To help deserving shelter pets find loving homes, BISSELL Pet Foundation sponsors reduced adoption fees of $50 or less per cat or dog during each nationwide event.

• PAWS will participate May 1-15, at 285 John R. Rice Blvd. Murfreesboro, TN 37129, offering fee-waived adoptions for cats, dogs, puppies, and kittens.
