Re-Entry Program
The Rutherford County Re-Entry Program was initiated in 2019 at the Rutherford County Correctional Work Center and Adult Detention Center. The Re-Entry Program addresses criminal thinking, substance abuse, mental health, and basic life skills through evidence-based programming, case management, and other reintegration and recovery supports and referrals. The overall goal of the Re-Entry Program is to promote long-term recovery and independence for those who are incarcerated in Rutherford County as they transition back into society. The Re-Entry Team is committed to providing resources by collaborating with other community partners and agencies that contribute to long-term success. Programming services provided by the Re-Entry Team are designed for those serving at least three months, but service and resource connection is available to all those impacted by incarceration.
