Wellness Incentive Points
Rutherford County Employees have the opportunity to earn a $300 annual medical premium credit for the 2027 plan year (the reduction is based on your payroll deduction frequency).
When do you earn points?
Accumulate points from October 1, 2025 - September 30, 2026; the premium credit is reflected the following January 1 for those completing the program.
How do you earn points?
Employees and spouses, if enrolled in a medical plan, simply earn 500 points per person by completing any of the options below.

How do you receive credit for the points you have earned?
There are two ways to receive credit for the wellness points you have earned.
Cigna awards points via the claims that have been submitted from your medical provider to Cigna for payment. For example, if your provider bills Cigna for an annual physical exam and a flu shot, Cigna will know that you have completed those activities and they will report your wellness points accordingly.
Another option, if your points were earned without using your Cigna insurance or just if you prefer, you may print off the Wellness Point Form document below, complete the top Employee Section, have your provider complete the Provider Section, and the form can be either submitted by your provider or you may create a self-service task on My Benefits Channel and upload a copy of the form yourself. (To create a self service task, login to MyBenefitsChannel.com, click the Employee Self Service Icon, click New Tasks, and search Wellness Point Form Upload. Select the form, click continue then submit. This will create the task for you and walk you through uploading your form there.)
